Navarasas is a Sanskrit word used to describe Nine human emotions. All other emotions stem from one of these nine. This is illustrated in our logo in the form of nine small bars under our name. The bar on top is a symbol of the balance we strive for; which is encased in a white aura. This aura is the signature for peace & purity; mirroring the energy radiated by someone living within the balance. It speaks of Nirvana.
It is imperative for man & nature to become one in order to experience & enjoy complete balance. We at Navarasas use Grade-A, pure, Essential Oils to increase the interaction between man & nature. Essential Oils are the semi oily resins of flowers, trees, shrubs, herbs, bushes, roots, seeds, leaves, stems & flowering petals. They are known to be the life force or the soul of the plants.
There are from 200 to 800 different chemical constituents with single oil. Because of this fact, no two oils are alike in the way they affect the body or the way the body responds to them. The common constituents are Aldehydes (anti-infection, sedative & calming), Eugenol (antiseptic & stimulating), Ketones (decongestant & stimulate cell regeneration in burns), Phenols (antiseptic & bacterial & virucidal), Sesquiterpenes (anti-inflammatory, liver & gland support) & Terpene Alcohols (antibacterial, diuretics & decongestants). These are but a few of the many natural occurring chemicals present in each of the essential oils and for that reason their applications are unlimited. The basic properties of all essential oils are that they are antioxidants i.e. help increase oxygen to the cells, they are detoxifying & antimicrobial.
To keep this interaction pure & absolute we do not use chemicals, synthetic preservatives or other additives. The use of additives is known to cause allergies & increase irritation. However the lesser known effect of chemicals, called the “chemical cocktail effect”; which disrupts body systems to a much larger extent. Products involving topical application are absorbed into the bloodstream directly through the skin, making the risk of exposure to substances very high. The preservatives & additives used in these introduce carcinogens into the blood stream & also are designed to mimic the hormones of the body. This later can becomes the cause of cancer & endocrine imbalance.
On the flip side, we do face some hurdles while using all natural products. The compromised shelf life of our products is one of them. Each product can be used up to a year. Also, the texture & consistency of our products are not synthetically altered which causes them to separate or become grainy over time. These differences are easily resolved by vigorously shaking &/or mixing the products well before use. Using all natural products ensures overall health & wholesome wellness, without compromising with the body.
